There are five fees paid yearly: registration, tuition, the Black History Production fee, the recital costume fee and the recital production fee. All fees are billed to your account.
Season XIV Tuition
The dance season runs 10 months, September through June. Registration and tuition may differ for students who registered in June or July.
Regular Classes
Tuition for one class. All standard combo and style classes, 1 hour per session.
Specialty Classes
Specialized training programs. Mommy & Me is 45 minutes.
Registration
Non-refundable registration fee per student. First month's tuition is due upon registration.
The non-refundable Black History Production Fee ($150) was due Wednesday, October 14th and covers one costume, dance tights and/or accessories, and one Black History Production shirt. Students in multiple classes pay $75 for each additional class, which covers the additional costume.
This fee also covers the theater rental for rehearsal and production, security, photographer, printing fees, decorations, props and WDC staff. It does not include tickets (dancers performing in the production do not need a ticket). Tickets are $15 for ages 3 and up, sold during studio hours Monday, January 4th through Wednesday, February 17th. A limited number are sold at the door for $20.
A $30 late fee is assessed after the deadline. Costumes will not be ordered after Wednesday, December 16th. There are no refunds if a student drops, and a $40 restock/shipping fee applies if a costume must be reordered. The fee is charged whether or not your child performs. Fees do not include alterations or additional accessories.
The non-refundable Recital Costume Fee ($175 per class) covers two costumes and is due Wednesday, January 6th. A $30 late fee is assessed after the deadline, and costumes will not be ordered after Wednesday, February 10th. There are no refunds if a student drops, and a $40 restock/shipping fee applies if a costume must be reordered. The fee is charged whether or not your child performs and must be paid in full by the deadline to participate in the recital.
The non-refundable Recital Fee ($275 per child) is due Wednesday, March 10th. It covers the theater rental for rehearsal and recital, security, photographer, videographer, printing fees, decorations, props and WDC staff.
Each student also receives a souvenir recital booklet with an individual picture, a digital copy of their picture, a recital shirt, trophy, certificate, a link to the recital recording, and four recital tickets. A $30 late fee is assessed after the deadline. The fee is charged whether or not your child performs and must be paid in full to participate in the recital.

Tuition continues to be charged until we receive your notification of withdrawal. Please submit the withdrawal form before the first of the month you plan to withdraw, at the studio Monday through Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. All fees must be paid in full at the time of withdrawal.
